For Australian accounting firms

Digital Marketing for Accountants

Win the recurring, high-value clients your firm actually wants.

Business owners, SMSF trustees and advisory relationships, not price shoppers chasing the cheapest tax return. Marketing built only for accounting firms and planned to the financial year.

§ 02 · The difference

Why accounting marketing is different

Accounting work is seasonal, clients stay for years and trust is decided before the first call. Generic marketing plans for none of that.

A · Seasonality

Demand isn't flat. It peaks at tax time.

Searches for accountants climb from July to October, then shift toward advisory and planning. Generic campaigns tend to run the same way all year. We plan spend and content to the financial year, so you are visible when people are choosing.

B · Lifetime value

A client is worth years, not one invoice.

A business client who stays for compliance, BAS and advisory is worth far more than a one-off return. We target the searches and suburbs that bring recurring work, and filter out the price shoppers before they reach your inbox.

C · Trust

Credentials do the selling.

People hand an accountant their finances. They check registrations, qualifications and who they will actually deal with. Your site and profiles need to show the CA, CPA, tax agent and SMSF credentials you hold, clearly and without the hard sell.

§ 03 · Services

Eight services. One accounting-only playbook.

Each service works alone, but they are built to share data: the keywords that rank also shape your ads, your pages and your content.

§ 04 · The method

Built around the financial year

Your year runs July to June, and so does ours. Campaigns ramp before tax time, run at full weight through the peak, pivot to EOFY planning in autumn and time reminders to each BAS quarter. Nothing is spent evenly by default.

Campaign calendar · FY Jul to JunFull weightRampPlanningOff-seasonBAS due
Jul to Oct

Peak demand. Budgets, bids and landing pages are set before July, not scrambled in August.

Nov to Mar

Quieter search, and room for advisory, SMSF and business content that ranks for next season.

Apr to Jun

EOFY tax planning for business owners, then the ramp into the next tax time.

§ 05 · How it works

Four steps, itemised.

No mystery retainer. You know what happens, in what order, and what you receive at each step.

§ 07 · Terms of engagementClause 7.1 · Exclusivity

One firm per service area.

Your service areas are agreed in writing during the audit, usually a cluster of suburbs or a city region.

  1. (a)Once we accept your firm for a service in a given area, we will not take on a competing accounting firm for that service in that area while we work together.
  2. (b)The rankings, ads and content we build for you are never used to benefit a competitor down the road.
  3. (c)Service areas are agreed in writing during your audit, before any work begins.
